iGetcha.org is a suggested opensource and free software directory for the technological sustainability of nonprofits. It's also a simple, non-techie shortlist to assist organizations with a SOHO.
acornhost offers budget web hosting for nonprofits, so technically, this is not a free solution. Different from the dreamhost requirements, one cool point is, you do not need to provide 501(c)(3) verification! You simply need to prove your org has a public service mission :) This is really cool because iGetcha knows that it is not easy to get all that paperwork together to start a nonprofit because there's so many things invovled with starting a nonprofit bank account, filing for 501(c)(3) and just getting legal within a state! as a small org. Another cool thing is, acornhost is green hosting which may align better with your nonprofit's mission ;)
Check out acornhost if none of the web hosting options fit your nonprofit needs.
