iGetcha.org is a suggested opensource and free software directory for the technological sustainability of nonprofits. It's also a simple, non-techie shortlist to assist organizations with a SOHO.
Unfortunately, Cnet.com advertises a lot of sofware and plenty of hardware not for free. Fortunately for nonprofits, they do offer some freeware and shareware options... With the understanding that you may be charged for some stuff (ie free for 30 days and $14.95 to buy), iGetcha thinks that Cnet just gives us additional information about software if needed. They are cool but may not be the best place for nonprofits. One thing we definitely like a lot is their updates on technology :) Remember, Cnet is in the heart of San Francisco and the Bay Area is the still where Silicon Valley resides.
