Unfortunately for iGetcha, we launched prior to finding Dreamhost free web hosting for registered 501(c)(3) organizations. But we want to share this valuable opportunity for all nonprofits in the US! We actually wish that this was offered globally and we're still searching for a web hosting option that follows the nonprofit ideal and is free for nonprofits outside the US as well. At one point for example, the Internet Access and Training Program was offering free hosting in the Caucasus, Central Asia, and Eurasia and was supported by USAID but the iatp.net link at one point went dead and is difficult to navigate. iGetcha has noticed that they tried to use Joomla! to host some of their sites, but it looks like they are not providing hosting to anyone at the moment. So iGetcha will continue to search for robust web hosting options with scalability for those ambitious nonprofits globally ;)

Anyway, some cool things Dreamhost offers is one-click installs of Drupal, Joomla, Wordpress, StatusNet, ZenCart, Pligg, Moodle, ZenPhoto, and more. Also, you can include Ruby on Rails integration!

If you want simple web hosting, you can use CFsites.org. They do not require 501(c)3 but you still need to prove you are indeed a nonprofit.
