iGetcha.org is a suggested opensource and free software directory for the technological sustainability of nonprofits. It's also a simple, non-techie shortlist to assist organizations with a SOHO.
As the social media evolution continues to evolve, there are hundreds of aggregators or application tools to collate your information online. Whether it is Tweets, FB statuses, LinkedIn updates or MySpace, TweetDeck makes organizing all the shouts (as Internet users used to call them in the early 90s) a lot easier.
Now imagine if you can do that on your mobile phone or linux machine if you're not a Windows user. Or even on a Mac ;) Enter TweetDeck. It's sleek. It's usable. It's intuitive. Although it's Adobe, the iGetcha Team really sees the value this application provides to nonprofits and ngos. Even if you don't have a fancy smartphone, this app is really useful and will save you time in posting and monitoring multiple sites and lists. Of course, this can't completely replace logging into a social networking site. But, if you're strapped with time and low on resources (typical in our field), the iGetcha Team recommends you give it a try.

Also, TweetDeck automatically shortens your urls!
It's one of those many times when we're wishing it was opensource and promoting creative commons, but it is not. And what we need to realize sometimes is that the mainstream market, in cases like these, help our nonprofit/ngo mission and goals. And that's what it's all about.
As we mentioned, if you prefer opensource, try out Gwibber. We will comment later when the team has a chance.
Good Luck!
The iGetcha Team :)
ps Thanks to Chicken for all the research!
