Interestingly enough, the Meego image file we have does not seem to work on VirtualBox. It's curious that there seems to be a netbook OS war brewing, which is not a bad thing for nonprofits since the fastest and most reliable light OS will be beneficial to recycling laptops and PCs.
Since we didn't test out Meego yet, it may be advisable to try out Ubuntu's Netbook Remix. From what we hear, it is similar to Ubuntu Unity which is their light OS to compete with Google Chrome OS. Confusing? Yes, we agree. Too many options out there with so many names! Eventually, we're hoping Ubuntu Unity is a small file that will be easy to install on old computers :)
What we'll do is continue to post OSes that we feel are valuable to the NGO community and as we all know, technology evolves quickly so some pages may need to be disabled ;) maybe even in the next month!
