iGetcha.org is a suggested opensource and free software directory for the technological sustainability of nonprofits. It's also a simple, non-techie shortlist to assist organizations with a SOHO.
Hi everybody, I like this site but I noticed that QutePhone is not listed on the site. And this is real FOSS stuff. I suggest you use it instead of Skype. www.qutecom.org
Cheers,

It's a good point that you brought up. Qutephone is another option for nonprofits to use. iGetcha's mission is to make sure that technology solutions are usable by nonprofits with less technical capacity. We've also created this site so the community can support each other in technological suggestions such as Qutephone. If anyone needs support in this area, we hope you can help them out or others too...
In comparison to Skype, we feel that Qutephone requires more setup. You need to configure SIP instead of just creating a new account. We agree that Qutephone is another solution so we're glad that you brought it to the attention of the nonprofit community ;)
So take a look at Qutephone if you're technically versed and hopefully, we can continue to find more alternatives for nonprofits :)
Please take a look at our current VoIP suggestions for nonprofits!
Thanks Clash,
The iGetcha Team

If you use Ubuntu Software Center, it should work pretty easily once you create a SIP account. On windows not sure, I don't use it. "Google" SIP accounts and you can find some free ones. Read the terms to make sure.
